Cornish Coastal Home
CORNWALLWhen you live a hectic London life, it can be difficult to switch off and get into holiday mode. So the minute my clients arrive in their home in Rock, North Cornwall the seascape embraces them. I selected a colour palette of grey and blue tones to match the environment, and the slate floor is both appealing and practical – as keen sailors and surfers, they bring plenty of sand back with them! The lovely vaulted ceiling is painted all white to maximise the light, but to give a bit more warmth for the upstairs bedrooms there's a hint of raspberry. Throughout, the seaside ambiance is maintained through features, artwork and even the soft furnishings.
